Notice of Proposed Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw

Pursuant to Section 124 of the Community Charter, the Council of the City of Dawson Creek is proposing to amend Council Procedure Bylaw No. 4374, 2018 at the Regular Meeting of Council on November 18, 2024, and is required to give public notice of the proposed changes.  

In general terms, the proposed changes are:

• To allow for the Regular Council Meeting to take place as soon as it is convenient following a holiday Monday; and 

• To allow for the scheduling of one Council meeting per month, at the discretion of Council. 

A copy of the proposed COUNCIL PROCEDURE AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 4595, 2024 and staff report outlining changes in detail may be viewed on the City website at www.dawsoncreek.ca after 4:30 pm, November 13, 2024.
