Community Awards

The Dawson Creek Community Awards are presented each year to celebrate dedicated citizens and businesses that help build our community. As of 2023, Community Futures Peace Liard oversees this initiative.

History of the awards

The Community Awards began in 2016 as a City of Dawson Creek initiative under the direction of City Council, and were moved to our local Community Futures branch in 2023.

Winners of the awards

The 2022 Community Awards Nomination period closed October 23, 2022 and the voting period closed November 16, 2022.  The 2022 Community Awards were presented at the Regular Meeting of Council on December 19, 2022.
