Community Awards

The Dawson Creek Community Awards are presented each year to celebrate dedicated citizens and businesses that help build our community.

History of the awards

The Community Awards were revived in 2016 as a City of Dawson Creek initiative under the direction of City Council. In 2023 and 2024, Community Futures Peace Liard partnered with the City to elevate the awards and host a Community Awards Gala. In 2025, the awards will be co-hosted by the Dawson Creek & District Chamber of Commerce.
