You may vote as a Resident Elector if you:
- Are a Canadian citizen;
- Are 18 years of age or older on General Voting Day;
- Have lived in British Columbia for at least six months immediately before registering to vote;
- Be a resident of the municipality or electoral area; and
- Are not disqualified from voting by law.
- You may also be eligible to vote as a Non-Resident Property Elector if you have owned property within Dawson Creek boundaries for at least 30 days immediately before you register to vote, but live elsewhere.
