RCMP
The Dawson Creek RCMP detachment serves the City of Dawson Creek, Pouce Coupe, Rolla, Arras, Farmington, and Kelly Lake. RCMP members are involved in community programs.

Crime prevention is an important topic for RCMP members and community groups. The following groups are active:
Citizens on Patrol (COP)
COP is an active group in Dawson Creek, who's mission is to “improve community safety by training volunteers who partner with Police to accurately observe and report suspicious and or criminal activity.” To volunteer email.

Rural Crime Watch

Online crime reporting
You can report a crime online if the following conditions apply:
- The crime happened within the jurisdiction of the Dawson Creek RCMP.
- You have lost something that costs < $5000, and you do not have the serial number or any unique identifying marks.
- Someone has stolen something from you that costs < $5000, and you do not have the serial number or any unique identifying marks.
- Someone has vandalized your property or vehicle and it will cost < $5000 to repair it.
- You want to report a driving complaint (general poor driving: speeding, distracted driving, or failing to follow road signs or signals).
You cannot report a crime online if:
- There is a witness or suspect (unless it is a driving complaint).
- There are lost or stolen items involving personal identity, firearms, license plates or decals.
- There are lost or stolen items that are identifiable by a serial number or unique identifying marks (ie. engraved with an individual's name/unique number).
