Spring Sweep
Every spring, the City of Dawson Creek invites residents and local non-profit organizations to take part in our Spring Sweep initiative! This program helps keep our city clean and safe by removing winter gravel, litter, and debris from public spaces, streets, and boulevards. It’s an opportunity to support those in need, give back to the community, and keep Dawson Creek looking its best.If your non-profit group is looking to volunteer and earn an honorarium, or if you're a resident in need of assistance, here’s how you can participate:
Gravel Removal & or Yard Waste Removal Assistance for Seniors & Persons with Disabilities
Seniors aged 65 and older, as well as individuals with permanent physical disabilities, can request assistance with clearing winter gravel from their boulevards or arranging yard waste pick-up.

Gravel Removal - Fundraising Opportunity for Non-Profit Groups
Local non-profit organizations can volunteer to remove gravel in exchange for an honorarium per lot. This is a great way to give back to the community while raising funds for your cause!

Yard Waste Pick-Up - Fundraising Opportunity for Non-Profit Groups
Local non-profit organizations can volunteer to remove yard waste on two pre-scheduled days. Participating groups must provide their own trucks for pickup and disposal. This program offers a meaningful way to give back to the community while raising funds for your cause.
