The City of Dawson Creek hires qualified contractors to assist with general and utility emergency services, such as water main breaks, flooding, or road repairs.

Fill out the Hired Equipment registration form if you are a qualified contractor who has an excavator, dump truck, bulldozer, backhoe, or grader.

Emergency categories

There are two emergency categories. Contractors can select either or both:

  1. General emergencies: ditching, earthwork, and snow plowing
  2. Utility emergencies: underground water, storm and sewer systems

Submissions

To be considered, submissions must include:

  • Registration Form
  • Contractor Pricing Sheet
  • City of Dawson Creek Business License
  • Proof of Good Standing with WorkSafeBC
  • Commercial General Liability
  • ICBC APV47 or equivalent certificate

Submit the form and documents electronically to Public Works. The City does not accept .zip files. Alternatively, in-person submissions can be made at the Public Works Office (92 Vic Turner Road).
