Oversized Truck Permits

Vehicles exceeding bylaw limits must obtain an Oversized Truck Permit before traveling in Dawson Creek. For local deliveries, drivers must use the most direct route by way of arterial or collector roads when possible.

Cost

Our Fees and Charges Bylaw determines the cost of the permits. Permit costs are:

• $10.61 for commercial vehicles that do not conform with size and load restrictions
• $10.61 for commercial vehicles that do not conform with weight restrictions
