Transportation Master Plan
The City of Dawson Creek is currently updating its Transportation Master Plan. We asked for your input to help shape the future of transportation in our community through an online survey and at the following events in 2024:
- Pop-up booth at the Mile Zero Cruisers Show N’ Shine
- Pop-up booth at the Dawson Creek Exhibition & Stampede
At the March 24, 2025 Council Meeting, consultants presented the Draft Transportation Master Plan. The final plan will be presented in the coming months.

BC Transit
Public transit in Dawson Creek is operated by BC Transit. Two routes run throughout our city. Use the trip planner on the BC Transit website or view schedules and maps to find out how to get around.
Umo
BC Transit uses Umo, a digital payment service. Riders can use the Umo app to manage their account, or sign-up for an Umo card or add funds to their account at one of the following vendors:

The transportation providers each have their own bus schedules and routes, and cover different areas and travel needs across Northern BC.
Most of the bus services are available to everyone, with some services focused on seniors and elders, community members and people traveling for medical purposes.
