The Dawson Creek Emergency Reception Centre has relocated from Sudeten Hall to City Hall, 10105 12A Street for the duration of Wednesday, June 4 to Friday, June 6. The Dawson Creek ESS Team will be on site to continue supporting Kelly Lake and One Island Lake evacuees with food, lodging and supplies.

At 18:45hrs on June 3, 2025, the Peace River Regional District issued an Evacuation Order for the Kiskatinaw River Wildfire (G70422) upon recommendation from BC Wildfire Service due to immediate danger to life safety.
In response, the Dawson Creek Emergency Reception Centre has relocated to Sudeten Hall, 1901 Alaska Highway to support evacuees from the One Island Lake community.

The Dawson Creek ESS Reception Centre will be renewing services for Kelly Lake evacuees on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 10:00 to 14:00 at Sudeten Hall.
The Dawson Creek ESS Team is reviewing hotel renewals today, please visit your hotel front desk for updates by 6:00 PM (18:00hrs).
For food and supply referrals, please come in person to the ESS Reception Centre on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

The City invites interested suppliers to submit a bid for the supply and delivery of 2,000 metric tonnes of 19mm High Fines Surfacing Aggregate. Material must conform to the Ministry of Transportation and Transit Specifications for Highway Construction Section 202 (page 96) which details granular base course material.
