Bur Oak

Bur oak is considered a medium – large sized tree, typically growing to 70 – 80 feet (21.34 – 24.38 meters). Bur oak is versatile in its planting locations which includes: dry limestone uplands, gravelly ridges, sandy plains and loamy slopes; but also can be found growing in moist flood plain areas. Bur oak prefers part sun – full sun exposure.
