Paper Birch

Paper Birch is native to North America. Paper Birch can grow up to 65 – 131 ft. (20 – 40 m). Paper Birch has notable bark that on mature trees is white and flakes in fine horizontal strips resembling paper. Paper Birch can grow in a wide variety of soil types including: rocky outcrops, to the flat muskegs of the boreal forest. Optimal growth will occur in well-draining – dry soils. Paper Birch is shade intolerant and will grow best in part shade to full sun exposure.
